ULTIMATE Internet Access and
Mountain States Communications
Have Joined Forces

CLAREMONT, California, April 1, 2000 -- ULTIMATE Internet Access, Inc. (UIA) announced that Mountain States Communications (MSCOMM) has joined forces with UIA, effective April 1, 2000, making UIA the largest regional Internet Service Provider in the Inland Empire. This is the fifth significant deal for UIA in the Inland Empire in less than two years. UIA continues to be the fastest growing Internet Service Provider in the region, with over 10,000 customers. UIA=s first acquisition was CYBERG8T, in May 1998. In July 1999, UIA acquired Enterprise for Economic Excellence, a full service Internet Service Provider located in San Bernardino, Genesis was acquired in October, and Aviastar was acquired earlier this year.

Ray Mouton, President of UIA, said: "We are delighted to provide Internet services to MSCOMM customers. Current customers will continue to use the same phone numbers to access the Internet and E-mail addresses will remain the same. We will be keeping the MSCOMM name and will have an office in Victorville. MSCOMM customers now have the advantage of expanded technical support coverage of 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days per week, DSL and ISDN connectivity, and a variety of business services formerly unavailable."

According to Tim Harris, Owner of Mountain States Communications, UIA was selected because of their commitment to a high level of customer service and their experience combining customers into their operation without affecting their service. "UIA has a great reputation for customer service,"
said Harris.
