CLAREMONT, California, August 4, 2000 -- ULTIMATE Internet Access, Inc. (UIA) announced that it has acquired Comstock Net of Rialto, effective August 4, 2000. This is the sixth acquisition for UIA in the Inland Empire since 1998. UIA continues to be the fastest growing Internet Service Provider in the region, with over 10,000 customers. UIA's first acquisition was CYBERG8T, in May 1998. In July 1999, UIA acquired Enterprise for Economic Excellence, a full service Internet Service Provider located in San Bernardino and Genesis was acquired in October. Aviastar and Mountain States Communications were acquired earlier this year.

Ray Mouton, President of UIA, said: "This latest acquisition allows UIA to continue to grow and at the same time to provide expanded service to the former Comstock customers. Our new customers will continue to use their current dial in number to access the Internet plus all E-mail addresses will remain the same. Additionally, we are providing extended technical support hours, 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days per week, DSL, ISDN, and a variety of business services formerly unavailable.
